Adrienne Barton Bio - Dual Certified Peaceful Parenting and Stepfamily Coach

Adrienne Barton

In addition to being a certified stepfamily coach, Adrienne is also a wife, mom of two, and stepmom of two. She and her husband, Anthony, have been together 10 years, married for 9. They each brought two daughters into the relationship, his and hers. While Adrienne grew up in a nuclear family home, that did not come without its challenges, it was when she was a young adult that her parents divorced. It is these personal experiences that have given her the firsthand experience to understand the realities and feelings that come with blending families and living as a stepfamily.

Prior to coaching Adrienne obtained her bachlors’s in business administration and began her career in non-profit operations and philanthropy work where she discovered her passion for coaching and helping others.

Struggling to find peace and happiness in her own blended family situation, combined with her lifelong learner mindset and dedication to helping others, Adrienne became a dual certified peaceful parenting and stepfamily coach. As a coach her goal is to support her clients in re-discovering themselves, empowering them to find peace, positive coping tools, and happiness in their roles as moms and stepmoms.

Amelia Lane Bio - Certified Stepfamily Coach

Along with being a certified stepfamily coach, Amelia is also a {second} wife, mother of two and stepmom of one. She and her husband have been together 12 years, married for 7. They each brought a daughter into the relationship and added their "ours" baby to the mix 8 years ago. Amelia is also a child of divorce; growing up in a single parent home and had two half siblings that lived in the other parents home. Along with her specialized education, Amelia's biggest asset to coaching is that she has lived through multiple stepfamily situations throughout her life, giving her many different perspectives when assisting clients.

Prior to coaching Amelia graduated as a Personal Support Worker and spent a total of twelve years working in long term care; caring for the elderly,  as well as a variety of Homes for Special Care where she assisted psychiatric patients with daily living needs.

After struggling with happiness and peace in her own stepfamily: overcoming jealousy, insecurity in her role as a second wife/stepmom, loneliness, frustration, hurt, grief and resentment, Amelia was eventually able to overcome those obstacles. Having a lifelong passion for helping others led her to become a certified stepfamily coach where her goal is to assist her clients in learning how to cope with and overcome their unique stepfamily challenges.
